Hawaii is the largest island in the Hawaiian Islands, located at the southeastern end of the archipelago. It is a volcanic island consisting of three volcanoes: Mauna Kea in the north-central part, Mauna Loa in the south-central part, and Kilauea in the southeast. Tourism is an important industry, as well as agriculture such as sugarcane, coffee, and floriculture (orchids), livestock farming in the west, and fishing. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is located around the two volcanoes, Mauna Loa and Kilauea, and was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1987. The main city is Hilo on the east coast.
