One of the stage names of Kabuki actors. Used by Ichikawa Ennosuke and others. It is said to be named after the inverted iris crest on the armor worn by Soga Goro in the rough Soga-mono "Kusazurihiki" play, which is Ichikawa-ryu's specialty.
