The legend of Koreyoshi's ancestor is the same as the so-called Miwa Mountain legend (snake god marriage tale) in the section on Emperor Sujin in the Kojiki, in which Omononushi-no-Okami, the god of Yamato Miwa Mountain, visited Ikutama-yori-bime and gave birth to Otatanekome-no-Mikoto.
