〘Noun〙① Special administrative districts established in Yamato Province and Kawachi Province during the Nara Period. Yoshino -no-gen and Izumi -no-gen were located where detached palaces were located. Both were later merged into Yamato Province and Kawachi Province, and then separated into Izumi Province. ※Shoku Nihongi - Reiki 2nd Year (716), April Koushi "Initially, two Izumi Prisons were established " ② Judges of Dazaifu. There are Dai and Sho . 〘名〙① 奈良時代、大和国と河内国に置かれた特別行政区。離宮の所在地で芳野監(よしののげん)と和泉監(いずみのげん)とがあった。のちに二監とも大和国、河内国に合併され、また和泉国として分立した。※続日本紀‐霊亀二年(716)四月甲子「始置和泉監焉」② 大宰府の判官(じょう)。大・少がある。大監は正六位下、少監は従六位相当で定員は各二員。※源氏(1001‐14頃)玉鬘「まれまれのはらからはこのげむにおなじ心ならずとて仲たがひにたり」
