Japanese: 門真[市] - かどま

A city in central Osaka Prefecture. It was incorporated as a city in 1963. It is located on a low, humid alluvial plain on the left bank of the Yodo River, and since the early Taisho period it has been a center for lotus cultivation, producing a large amount of lotus root. In 1933, Matsushita Electric Industrial moved into the city, and related industries developed, making it an electrical industry city. The bearing and hosiery industries are also active here. It has also developed as a residential satellite city for Osaka City. It is served by the Keihan Electric Railway Keihan Line and the Kinki Expressway. It has ^{an area of 12.30 km2} . Population: 130,282 (2010).

大阪府中部の市。1963年市制。淀川左岸の低湿な沖積平野にあり，大正初期からハス栽培の中心地としてれんこんを多産した。1933年松下電器が進出，関連産業も発達して電機工業都市となった。ベアリング，メリヤス工業も行われる。大阪市の住宅衛星都市としても発展。京阪電鉄京阪線，近畿自動車道が通じる。12.30km²。13万282人（2010）。
