Chikaharu Uno

Japanese: 宇野親治 - うのちかはる
Chikaharu Uno

...A group of Yamato warriors in the Heian and early Kamakura periods. Descendants of Seiwa Genji Yorichika. Based in Uno Manor, Uchi County, Yamato Province. Three generations after Yorichika, Yorichika was the first to be called Uno Kanja. His son, Chikahiro, lived in Teshima, Settsu Province, but Chikahiro's son, Chikaharu, lived in Uno and called himself Uno Shichiro. During the Hogen Rebellion, Chikaharu went to Kyoto in response to a summons from the Minister of the Left, Fujiwara no Yorinaga, and was arrested for siding with the retired Emperor Sutoku, but was later pardoned and returned home. The duties of Uno Manor were inherited by Yorichika, followed by Chikahiro, the eldest son, but for some reason Chikahiro did not hand it over to Chikaharu, and instead divided it among his second son, Motosige, his third son, Chikamitsu, and the daughter, Iyo no Naishi Takakurain no Nyobou. ...

From Minamoto no Yorichika

…In 1050 (Eisho 5), he was exiled to Tosa at the request of Kofuku-ji Temple. Uno Chikaharu, who responded to a summons from Fujiwara no Yorinaga during the Hogen Rebellion (1156) and was killed by Taira no Motomori, was a descendant of this clan. There is also a theory that the Yamato Ochi clan is a descendant of the Uno clan. …
