Japanese: 臼太鼓踊 - うすだいこおどり
Usu-daiko dance
〘 noun 〙 Folk dance. For rain-making ceremonies and Bon Odori, young men wear large mortar-like drums on their chests and dance while beating them. It is often accompanied by ondo songs, gongs , and flutes. It is often seen in the Kyushu region, and in Okinawa it is danced by women.
