Udegei - Udegei

...Population: 1900 (1989). Russians call them Udegeitsy, but they call themselves Udege or Udee, and speak the Udege language, a Tungusic language. In the past, they lived a nomadic life in the tributaries of the Ussuri and Amur rivers and in the forests of Primorsky Krai, fishing in the rivers in the summer and hunting and marten hunting in the winter.
