Born on November 10, 1626. The eldest son of Inaba Masanori. In 1610, he became Kyoto Shoshidai (shrine official). In 1613, he became the lord of Odawara Domain in Sagami (Kanagawa Prefecture) for the third generation of the Inaba family, and he gave 8,000 koku and new fields to his younger brothers Masayori and Masakazu. In 1629, he became the lord of Takada Domain in Echigo (Niigata Prefecture), and in 1631, he became a senior councilor, and in the same year, he became the first lord of the Inaba family to become the lord of Sakura Domain in Shimousa (Chiba Prefecture). He was awarded 102,000 koku. He changed his name from Masamichi to Masamichi. He died on October 9, 1614, at the age of 77.
