Japanese: 安達（地名） - あんだつ

...Population: 1 million (1994). Formerly called Anda. Originally a wet grassland that was a nomadic area of the Turbet Banner, the Anda Prefecture was established in 1906 (the 32nd year of the Guangxu era). In 1913, Anda County was established. In 1960, it merged with part of Zhaozhou County to become Anda City, and in 1979 it was renamed Daqing City (the current Anda City is a county-level city adjacent to the southeast of Daqing City).
