A federation of African broadcasting organizations. Founded in 1962. It was established with about 50 organizations from the member countries of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) as full members. Its headquarters are in Dakar, Senegal. Its financial resources come from contributions from member organizations (1% of each organization's annual expenses).
