Kagamiyama
[1] A mountain on the border between Yasu City and Ryuo Town in the southern part of Shiga Prefecture. Kagami-juku was located at the foot of the mountain. It is 385 meters above sea level. Ryuo Mountain. Utamakura. ※Kokin (905-914) Zatsujo, 899: "I will go and see Kagami Mountain from the start, and my body will grow old and I will be able to live with my body. (Author unknown )" [2] A place name in Kawara Town in the central-eastern part of Fukuoka Prefecture. It is said that Empress Jingu prayed to the gods when she conquered Silla . ※Man'yoshu (late 8th century) 3, 311 : "If I have not seen Kagami Mountain in Toyokuni for so long, I may miss her." [3] A mountain on the eastern edge of Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. It is said that Matsuura no Sayohime waved her scarf from the top of the mountain as she lamented her separation from Otomo no Satehiko. Mount Hirefuru . Mount Hirefuri -no-mine . Mount Matsura. [4] A mountain in Saijo-cho, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. During the Muromachi period, the Ouchi clan built Saijo Castle and ruled Aki Province (western Hiroshima Prefecture), but in 1523 , it was attacked and fell to Amago Tsunehisa.

[一] 滋賀県南部、野洲(やす)市と竜王町の境にある山。ふもとに鏡宿があった。標高三八五メートル。龍王山。歌枕。※古今(905‐914)雑上・八九九「鏡山いざたちよりてみてゆかん年へぬる身はおいやしぬると〈よみ人しらず〉」[二] 福岡県中東部、香春(かわら)町の地名。神功皇后が新羅(しらぎ)征討に際し、神々に祈願したという所。※万葉(8C後)三・三一一「梓弓引き豊国の鏡山(かがみやま)見ず久ならば恋しけむかも」[三] 佐賀県唐津市東端にある山。松浦の佐用姫が山上から領巾(ひれ)を振って大伴狭手比古に別離を惜しんだという。領巾振(ひれふる)山。褶揺峰(ひれふりのみね)。まつら山。[四] 広島県東広島市西条町にある山。室町時代、大内氏が西条城を築き、安芸国(広島県西部)を支配したが、大永三年(一五二三)尼子経久に攻められて落城した。

かがみ‐の‐やま【鏡山】
