Mārūnī (English spelling)

…a sect of Eastern Christianity, centered in Lebanon. In Arabic, it is called Mārūnī. It was founded in the 5th century in the Orontes Valley as a group of monotheists with a unique Christology (two natures, one will), but during the Crusades it became part of the Roman Catholic Church, and in the 18th century it officially became the Eastern Catholic Church.
