A river in central Europe. It is also called the Odra in Polish. It originates in the Sudeten Mountains in the Czech Republic, meanders through Silesia, flows northwest, joins the Neisse downstream, forms the border between Germany and Poland (Oder-Neisse line), splits into two parallel waterways, flows into the coastal lake of Szczecin, and opens into the Baltic Sea. It is 913 km long. It is connected to the industrial area of ​​Berlin by a canal, and further connections to the Elbe and Danube are planned.
