Tereus

In Greek legend, she was the daughter of Athenian king Pandiōn and sister of Prokne, who was married to Thracian king Tereus. Tereus, who had one child with Prokne, Itys, falsely claimed that Prokne had died, summoned Philomela, raped her, and then cut out her tongue to keep her quiet.
