...From the late 18th Dynasty, there were more images of funeral processions and worship of gods, and fewer images of common people's hard labor. In the 19th Dynasty, in the group of common people's tombs at Dīr al-Madīna (a corner of the Theban cemetery), lively scenes of common people were depicted on a yellow background using traditional folk painting techniques. In the New Kingdom, various line drawings were made on pottery fragments and limestone fragments.
