Andronikos

Japanese: Andronikos
Andronikos

...The 12 years he served as head of the Lyceum were the most productive period in both research and teaching, but after Alexander's sudden death in Babylon in 323 BC, anti-Macedonian sentiment grew in Athens, and Aristotle, who was seen as a Macedonian ally, was accused of impiety. He fled to Chalcis, his mother's hometown, where he died of illness the following year.
[Works]
What is known today as the Collected Works of Aristotle is based on a collection of lecture papers written by Andronikos, a scholar from Rhodes, who compiled them into a thematic collection based on Aristotle's own distinction between academic disciplines (theoretical, practical, and productive) in the 1st century BCE. This is where the later research attitude of treating Aristotle's philosophy as a complete system originated.

From the Peripatetic School

...The name comes from the habit of Plato giving lectures while walking around. It originally referred to Aristotle and others from the Academy, but later came to refer to those from the Lyceum founded by Aristotle. Under the second head of the academy, Theophrastus, and the third head, Straton, the study of natural science in particular was inherited and promoted, and the school gradually moved away from the teachings of its founder and became more materialistic, but around 70 B.C., under the head of the academy, Andronikos, Aristotle studies were revived. …
