Ame-no-Kaku was regarded as the "monoshiro of Wakoku" (a symbol of control over Yamato Province). Uneonimasu Takehaniyasu Shrine (a major shrine listed in the Engishiki) is the shrine that worships the clay clay of Mt. Ame-no-Kaku as a male deity, and is located at the western foot of Mt.
