…1130-1269. In Spanish, it is called Almohade. Its founder, Abd al-Mu'min (reigned 1130-63), founded the state at Tinmallar in the Atlas Mountains, leading the Mas'muda tribe, a settled people in the Atlas Mountains, based on the religious movement of Ibn Tumart.
