せい‐し【青侍】

〘名〙 (「青侍(あおさぶらい)」の音読) 公家(くげ)に仕える六位の侍。六位は青色の袍(ほう)を着たところからいう。また、位の低い若侍。※高野本平家(13C前)五「源中納言雅頼卿のもとに候ける青侍(セイシ)が見たりける夢も、おそろしかりけり」
