…(6)Chinese: A general term for breeds native to China, the world's largest pig-raising country. There are said to be about 100 main breeds, with coat colors ranging from white to black to black and white (known as "flower pigs") and body shapes that vary widely, but they generally have excellent reproductive power, excellent roughage utilization, and high disease resistance. The most famous breeds are the Xinhuai, Jilin Black, Xinjin, Jinhua, and Taiwan's Taoyuan.
