Japanese: 言語類型論 - げんごるいけいろん

A study of language diversity in various aspects, classifying languages into several types regardless of their origin. In morphology, the classification into isolating, agglutinative, inflected, and conjugated languages is known; in syntax, the classification according to the relative word order of subject, object, and predicate is known; in phonology, the classification according to vowel system types or distinctive features is known.
