After graduating from the Conservatoire, she made her debut at the Vaudeville Theatre in 1874, where she married the theatre's owner, Porel. She premiered many plays by naturalist writers such as E. Brueck, H. Bataille, and H. Bernstein. She also starred in commercial theater, leaving behind famous plays such as V. Sardou's Madame Saint-Jean (1893), and appeared in films.
