Limerick

The capital of County Limerick in the southwest of Ireland. A port city at the mouth of the Shannon River. A major city in the west of Ireland, it is the home of food processing industries such as flour milling and meat processing, and the base of the salmon fishing industry. Shannon Airport in the west is a stopover point for air routes connecting the UK and the US.
