Ainu-Russian Dictionary

...The editor, Davidoff, is known in Japan as a ruffian who, together with Khvostov, attacked the islands of Etorofu and Rishiri on a Russian ship in 1807. A full-fledged dictionary is the Ainu-Russian Dictionary (1876, about 11,000 words) by Russian military doctor Mikhail M. Dobrotvorskii (1836-74), and a grammar book is Studies on the Structure of the Ainu Language (1851) by the Austrian August Pfizmaier (1808-87).
