Ateshidoshuji - Ateshidoshuji

... refers to staff members of the Board of Education who are engaged in work related to the guidance of the school curriculum, learning guidance, and other specialized matters related to school education. In addition, some of these staff members perform the duties of a guidance director while retaining their teacher status, and are called "atte guidance directors" (they work for the Board of Education, but are not its administrative staff). Guidance directors were established to reject the equivalent school inspection system that existed before World War II.
