Written by Wang Xiuchu in the early Qing Dynasty, China. 1 volume. A remarkable piece of documentary literature and a historical document. In 1645 (Shunzhi 2), the Qing army under Prince Yu's command encountered resistance from the remaining Ming army of Shi Kefa in Yangzhou, and after capturing them, committed large-scale plundering and massacres. 中国，清初の王秀楚の著。1巻。異彩を放つ記録文学であり，歴史資料でもある。1645年(順治2)予親王トド(多鐸)麾下（きか）の清軍は，揚州で史可法の明の残軍の抵抗にあい，これを陥落させた後，大規模な略奪と殺戮を行った。陰暦4月25日から5月5日まで，その渦中にあった著者がみずからの生々しい体験を記録したのが本書であり，死者80万という異常な状況が実感される。1808年(文化5)以前に日本にも将来，刊行された。
