A samurai family of Ise from the Northern and Southern Courts to the Warring States period. Also known as the Aizo clan or Gosho (Goka) clan, they were based in Gokashoura, Nansei Town, Watarai County, Mie Prefecture. There is a castle and mansion site in the same area. Origin unknown. There was also the Aisu clan based in Nanbu Manor, Hidaka County, Kii Province, but the genealogical relationship between the two is unclear. In 1339 (Engen 4 | Ryakuo 2), Munezane was given Kayoo Mikuriya in Asaka County by the Southern Court, and the name of Shugo Aisu Tarozaemon-no-jo appears in the Ushioda Mikikage Gunchujo of the same year, and Aiso Ise-no-kami appears in the Taiheiki. From the Northern and Southern Courts to the early Muromachi period, they were active, taking possession of Tango and Bitter Tree Mikuriya, Okuni Manor, Horakuji territory, and other lands, as well as assuming the position of steward of Sone Manor in Daigoji territory. 南北朝~戦国期の伊勢の武家。愛曾氏,五箇所(五箇)氏とも称し,現,三重県度会郡南勢町五ヶ所浦を本拠とした。同地に城・館址がある。出自不明。紀伊国日高郡南部荘を本拠とした愛洲氏もいるが,両者の系譜関係は不明。1339年(延元4∥暦応2)宗実が朝明郡萱生御厨を南朝より与えられたほか,同年の〈潮田幹景軍忠状〉に守護愛洲太郎左衛門尉,《太平記》には愛曾伊勢守の名がみえる。南北朝から室町初期にかけて丹河・苦木(にがき)御厨,大国荘,法楽寺領などの押領,醍醐寺領曾禰荘の預所職を請け負うなど活発な動きをしている。
