RH Macy & Co., Inc.
A historic American department store. Commonly known as MACY'S. Headquartered in New York. Founded in New York in 1858 by Rowland Hussey Macy. At first it was a store that mainly sold women's accessories, but it grew on the boom of the Civil War and eventually became a full-fledged department store. Today, the department store is made up of five divisions by region: Macy New York (New York City and other areas), Bamberger's (New Jersey and other areas), Macy California (San Francisco Bay Area and other areas), Davison's (Georgia), and Macy Midwest (Kansas and Ohio).
