A collection of poems and verse dramas by the Chinese writer Guo Moruo. Published in August 1921 by Taidong Book Company, Shanghai, first class in the Creative Society series. This is the author's first collection of poems, and includes 56 poems in addition to the prologue. The earliest poem was written in 1918, and a few were written when he returned to China in 1921, but most of the poems were written in 1919 and 1920 while he was studying in Japan. There were earlier collections of colloquial poetry, such as Hu Shi's "Chōshi Ji" (1920), but this is said to be the first new collection of poems in terms of quality, and best represents the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, in that it directly sings of the ego and rebellion of the May Fourth Movement era. It is an outstanding collection of the author's many works in that it vividly blooms with the romanticism that is the author's temperament.
