〘Noun〙 A calendar written in extremely detailed kana, published by the Kawai family of Mishima Shrine in Izu Province (Shizuoka Prefecture) during the Oan era in the Muromachi period. In the Edo period, with the permission of the shogunate, it was published in the two provinces of Izu and Sagami (Kanagawa Prefecture). It is also used as an example of something written in lengthy, detailed characters. 〘名〙 室町時代、応安年間伊豆国(静岡県)の三島神社の川合氏で発行した、きわめて細かな仮名で記した暦。江戸時代には幕府の許可を得て、伊豆・相模(神奈川県)の二国に行なわれた。また、こまごました文字でくどくどと書いたもののたとえにも用いる。三島摺暦。※空華日用工夫略集‐康略元年(1379)三月四日巻末追抄「三島暦、以二是日一為二上巳節一、故作レ詩記レ之」
