Imayo Noh - Imayo Noh
〘Noun〙 A form of Noh that was popularized and performed by Izumi Yuzaburo with his wife and daughter during the Meiji period. It did away with the masks, added shamisen (musical accompaniment) , and included women. It is said to have been influenced by Horii Sensuke's Tsuji Noh from the Kansei period ( 1789-1801 ) and Osaka's Teraha Kyogen from the Ansei period ( 1854-60 ). It disbanded during the Taisho period. Izumi (Sen) Sukeno .

〘名〙 明治時代に泉祐三郎が妻、娘とともに通俗化して演じた能楽の一形式。面を廃し、囃子(はやし)三味線を加え、女を交えるなどした。寛政年間(一七八九‐一八〇一)の堀井仙助の辻能、安政年間(一八五四‐六〇)の大坂の照葉狂言などの影響を受けたという。大正時代に解散。泉(千)助能(せんすけのう)
