The highest peak in North America. At 6,194 meters above sea level. It is the main peak of the Alaska Range in south-central Alaska, USA, and offers a large mountain and glacier landscape. It is also called Denali, which means "the great one" or "the high one" in Indian language, and the surrounding area is Denali National Park (designated in 1917), where wild animals such as bears, caribou, and wolves can be seen. It is also known as a tourist destination for sightseeing flights and skiing. The mountain is named after the 25th President of the United States, W. McKinley.
