〘noun〙① In the Ritsuryo system, this refers to a family register. The family register in which a person is recorded. ※Shoku Nihongi - Taiho 3rd year (703), April Bogo "Over 200 people in Aki Province _{were abducted} as _slaves , _but _{were exempt} from having _{a permanent} domicile. _" ② The place where the family register is located. It is indicated by the prefecture, city, town, or village land number. It can be freely determined regardless of the actual address. ※Dajokan Proclamation No. 74 - July 10th, 1874 (Meiji 7) (Complete Collection of Laws) "Those who have not yet determined their permanent domicile and wish to have their permanent domicile set somewhere other than their current location should first have their permanent domicile set at their current location and then transfer from there to the desired location."
