Henishizaki

A cape jutting out into the Sea of ​​Japan in Fukaura Town, Nishitsugaru County, in the southwest of Aomori Prefecture. The coast forms sea cliffs, and the strangely shaped rocks and stones create a magnificent landscape. At Koganezaki in the north is the Kosakuzaki Lighthouse, the largest on the west coast of Aomori Prefecture, which was built in 1941 (Showa 16). Camellias grow in colonies on Tsubakiyama to the south, marking the northern limit of wild camellias on the Sea of ​​Japan side. The surrounding area is designated as Tsugaru Quasi-National Park.

青森県南西部、西津軽郡深浦町(ふかうらまち)で日本海に突出する岬。海岸は海食崖(がい)をなし、奇岩・怪石が雄大な風景を展開する。北部の黄金崎(こがねざき)には1941年（昭和16）に建設された青森県西海岸最大の艫作崎灯台がある。南方の椿山(つばきやま)にはツバキが群生し、日本海側野生ツバキの北限となっている。付近は津軽国定公園に指定される。
