Pterin

2-amino-4-oxopteridine. C ₆ H ₅ N ₅ O(163.14). It is found in Drosophila and human teeth. It is synthesized from 2,4,5-triaminopyrimidine and glyoxal. It is a pale yellow-green powder. Its melting point is over 350°C. It is easily soluble in acid and alkali, slightly soluble in water, and insoluble in ethanol and ether. It exhibits blue fluorescence (λ _max 450 nm, pH 8). It is a decomposition product of folic acid, biopterin, etc. It is obtained from the wings of butterflies and other insects and fish scales. It includes isoxanthopterin (2-amino-4,7-dihydroxypteridine), which has blue fluorescence, leucopterin (2-amino-4,6,7-trihydroxypteridine), and xanthopterin (2-amino-4,6-dihydroxypteridine), which has yellow-green fluorescence. 2-amino-4-oxopteridine．C₆H₅N₅O(163.14)．ショウジョウバエ，ヒトの歯などに存在する．2,4,5-トリアミノピリミジンとグリオキサールから合成される．淡黄緑色の粉末．融点350 ℃ 以上．酸，アルカリに易溶，水に微溶，エタノール，エーテルに不溶．青色の蛍光(λ_max 450 nm，pH 8)を示す．葉酸，ビオプテリンなどの分解物である．チョウ，そのほかの昆虫類の羽や，魚のうろこから得られるものに，青色の蛍光をもつイソキサントプテリン(2-アミノ-4,7-ジヒドロキシプテリジン)，ロイコプテリン(2-アミノ-4,6,7-トリヒドロキシプテリジン)，黄緑色の蛍光をもつキサントプテリン(2-アミノ-4,6-ジヒドロキシプテリジン)などがある．[CAS 2236-60-4]
