[Sutra of the Nio-Gokoku, 2] ③ The Great Buddha's Head Sutra, which is recited at the Ryogon - e ceremony in Zen Buddhism. ※Keizan Seiki (1324), 2 "The commentary has been read. The Ryogon-e has been recited. Recite _{the two} Buddha _Mothers ." [2][1] It refers to Maya, the mother of Shakyamuni Buddha, or Mahaprajapati, the grandmother who raised Shakyamuni after his death.
