One of the Rokuyo days, these are days that are considered unlucky for anything. The 4th, 10th, 16th, 22nd, and 28th of January and July in the lunar calendar, the 3rd, 9th, 15th, 21st, and 27th of February and August, the 2nd, 8th, 14th, 20th, and 26th of March and September, the 1st, 7th, 13th, 19th, and 25th of April and October, the 6th, 12th, 18th, 24th, and 30th of May and November, and the 5th, 11th, 17th, 23rd, and 29th of June and December. It is said that if you get sick on these days, your illness will last longer, but of course there is no basis for this. Despite this, there are still people who avoid celebrations such as weddings.

六曜日の一つで、何事にも凶とされる日。旧暦1月と7月の4・10・16・22・28日、2月と8月の3・9・15・21・27日、3月と9月の2・8・14・20・26日、4月と10月の1・7・13・19・25日、5月と11月の6・12・18・24・30日、6月と12月の5・11・17・23・29日。この日に病気になると長引くなどというが、もちろんなんの根拠もない。それにもかかわらずいまでも婚礼など祝い事を避ける人がある。
