Yoshiaki Hineno

Japanese: 日根野吉明 - ひねの よしあきら
Yoshiaki Hineno
1587-1656 A daimyo in the early Edo period.
Born in 1581. Son of Hineno Takayoshi. After his father's sudden death in 1602, he became the lord of Takashima Castle in Shinano (Nagano Prefecture). In 1604, he was transferred to Shimotsuke (Tochigi Prefecture) and became the lord of Mibu Domain with a fief of 10,900 koku. In 1636, he was transferred to Bungo (Oita Prefecture) with a fief of 20,000 koku. He died on March 26, 1605. He was 70 years old. Since he had no heir, his territory was confiscated after his death.

天正(てんしょう)15年生まれ。日根野高吉(たかよし)の子。慶長5年父の急死で信濃(しなの)(長野県)高島城主となる。7年下野(しもつけ)(栃木県)にうつされ,壬生(みぶ)藩主。1万900石。寛永11年豊後(ぶんご)(大分県)府内2万石に転封(てんぽう)される。明暦2年3月26日死去。70歳。継嗣がなく,死後領地を没収された。
