Born in 1581. Son of Hineno Takayoshi. After his father's sudden death in 1602, he became the lord of Takashima Castle in Shinano (Nagano Prefecture). In 1604, he was transferred to Shimotsuke (Tochigi Prefecture) and became the lord of Mibu Domain with a fief of 10,900 koku. In 1636, he was transferred to Bungo (Oita Prefecture) with a fief of 20,000 koku. He died on March 26, 1605. He was 70 years old. Since he had no heir, his territory was confiscated after his death.
