A Buddhist ruin in the northern part of Madhya Pradesh, central India. A gate and part of a balustrade were discovered around an abandoned tower built during the Shunga period (mid-2nd century BCE). The front of the balustrade features male and female deity statues and lotus patterns, while the back features reliefs of Jataka tales and Buddhist biographies, making it a valuable example of the oldest remaining Buddhist art.
