Hyderabad (English spelling)
The capital of Andhra Pradesh in southern India, located in the mid-west of the state. It is also called Hyderabad. It has a population of 3.15 million (1991). To distinguish it from the city of the same name in southern Pakistan, this city, located in the central Deccan Plateau, is sometimes called Hyderabad Deccan. It is made up of two twin towns: Hyderabad (stricken by the name Hyderabad), which straddles both the north and south banks of the Musi River, and Secunderābād, which lies to the north across the artificial lake Hussain Sagar (built in 1592).

Hyderabad

It flourished as a crossing point for the river and a key location for water transport. It consists of the old city and the new city, which developed from the barracks area under British rule to the west. Irrigation agriculture has developed in the surrounding area, and rice, millet, cotton, mangoes, dates and other fruits are distributed there. In addition to various industries such as cotton, metals and cement, traditional industries such as silk weaving, embroidery and jewelry processing are also located here.
