Nobeyamahara
A plateau in the eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, on the eastern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. Highland vegetables are grown here. Nobeyama Station on the Koumi Line is 1,346 meters above sea level, making it the highest station on the JR line. There is the National Astronomical Observatory's space radio observatory here. Nobeyama Plateau.
