1919‐2001 Polish dancer, choreographer and performer. He is the founder of the Pantomime Theatre in Wroclaw. He studied under Iwo Gall (1890-1959) and began performing on stage as a ballet dancer in 1949. In 1955 he founded the Pantomime Studio, which was officially established as the Pantomime Theatre in 1959. Stage, which places more importance on dynamism than on static and delicate expression, tends to lean towards dance, but perhaps because of his moderation and optimism, he is especially popular in Eastern Europe.
