An American private airline. Its headquarters are in St. Paul, Minnesota. Its airline code is NW. It is also called Northwest Orient Airlines, but this is not its official name, but a trademark used for advertising purposes. It is not a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association), an association of international airlines, and its motto is efficient management. Its main routes are within the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Far East.
