Aḥmedī (English spelling) Ahmedi

Japanese: Aḥmedī(英語表記)Ahmedi
Aḥmedī (English spelling) Ahmedi

In the early 14th and 15th centuries, the pioneers of Turkish literature in Anatolia were the mystic poets Yunus Emre, Sultan Bered (?-1312), and Āshık Paşa (?-1332), who wrote in a simple Anatolian dialect and in traditional Turkish rhymes. With the rise of the Ottoman Empire, the activities of court poets began, and Ahmedi's (1334-1413) İskendername, a long epic poem that includes the history of the Ottoman dynasty, spread as far as Central Asia. After the conquest of Constantinople (1453), many dynastic histories were compiled, but the chronicle of Aşık Paşa-Zadi, Neşri (?-1490), written in a simple style with many colloquial elements, preserves the narrative tradition.
