The name of a palace in the Heian Palace's Dairi. Located at the northern end of the center of the Dairi, the main building is seven bays from east to west and two from north to south, and faces south with eaves on all four sides. It was also called "Mikushigedono" because it housed female courtiers who handled miscellaneous matters at the palace, and the Mikushigedono, where clothing other than that made by the Kuraryo was prepared. The chief Mikushigedono betto sometimes became a Nyogo or the Crown Princess.
