Cerebral congestion - noujuuketsu
A condition in which blood flow to the brain is increased. There are arterial congestion caused by mental excitement, overwork, heating of the head, drinking alcohol, etc., and venous congestion caused by heart disease, emphysema, severe coughing, etc. Symptoms include facial flushing, eyelid congestion, headache, nausea, vomiting, etc., and in severe cases, loss of consciousness and convulsions may occur. During an attack, the patient should remain still, keep the upper body elevated, and cool the head.

脳の血流量が増加した状態。精神的興奮・過労,頭部の加熱,飲酒などが原因の動脈性充血と,心臓病,肺気腫(しゅ),激しい咳(せき)などが原因の静脈性鬱(うつ)血がある。症状は顔面紅潮,眼瞼(がんけん)充血,頭痛,悪心(おしん),嘔吐(おうと)などで,重症では時に意識消失や痙攣(けいれん)も起こる。発作時には安静にして上体を高くし,頭部を冷やす。
