A breed of dog. It stands about 13 cm tall at the shoulder and weighs about 0.8-2 kg. It is known as the smallest dog in the world. Native to Mexico. It is thought to have been kept in the Aztec Empire. There are long-haired and short-haired dogs, and their coat colors vary from white to light brown to dark brown. They have large ears that are set at a 45° angle. They are kept as pets. Their name comes from the Mexican Chihuahua.
