Born: November 15, 1876 in Paris
Died April 30, 1933. A French female poet from Paris. Born into the Romanian noble Grand Duke of Brancovan, she married Count de Noailles in 1897. In her pseudo-classical style, she was filled with lyricism that had been lost since the Romantic period, and sang with a fresh sensitivity about the emotions felt by natural landscapes. His first collection of poems was Le Cœur innombrable (1901), followed by L'Ombre des jours (02), Les Éblouissements (07), Les Vivants et les Morts (13), Les Forces éternelles (21), L'Honneur de souffrir (27), as well as the novel La Nouvelle Espérance (03) and the memoir Le Livre de ma vie (32). He is also known for his friendships with M. Barrès, Proust and Cocteau.
