Neon lamp
A light bulb that uses the yellow-red light of the cathode glow of neon gas. Low-pressure neon gas is sealed inside a glass bulb, and discharge occurs between spiral or disk-shaped electrodes placed close together. It consumes little power, and is used for night lights, indicator lights, microcurrent detection, stroboscopes, etc.
